The fixture itself is all metal construction, very sturdy feeling (I wasn't expecting it to feel nice for this price, but it does). The light output is very even (no hot spot or cold spots). And most important to me is that it is very thin and has a separate LED driver box. I needed to flush-mount some low profile lights in my garage gym space in order to maximize the available ceiling height. This light is great for maintaining your ceiling height! Only warning is that finding a hole saw big enough for the 18w version can be difficult at local hardware stores and banggood doesn't have a 9" hole saw available either. I had to order the larger hole saw from another website.
